The rendezvous

Twice a day, at 8 pm and 11 pm (Paris time), the town meets. If at least two players are around, a vote opens in the chat: what shall we do tonight?

The vote

• Click one of the four choices: Mob party, Flash treasure hunt, Build contest or Not tonight. You have 90 seconds.
• The most votes win. A tie means a flash treasure hunt. If Not tonight wins, nothing happens.
• If nobody votes, another vote opens a few minutes later.

Nobody is dragged in

Voting doesn't move you. When the choice is made, a [Join] button appears in the chat: only the players who click it are taken to the event, and everyone is brought back to where they were afterwards. Busy building? Ignore it and carry on. /rdv leave takes you home during a hunt or a contest (/mobparty leave during a mob party).

The three events

• Mob party: on the Mushroom Island, see The mob party. Two players are enough. The weekly bonus and the hats only come with the week's first win.
• Flash treasure hunt: a chest is hidden in the Diggings, within a couple of hundred blocks of the arrival. A clue every two minutes, more and more precise; from the third clue, a column of light. You have 15 minutes. First to open it wins. Watch out, the Diggings at night are the Diggings at night; if you die, you come back at the arrival and can keep looking.
• Build contest: 30 minutes on your own 9 × 9 plot in the Diggings, on a theme drawn at random, with your own materials. The building site is safe: no monsters, no damage. Then 5 minutes to vote for the best plot: the plots have numbers, not names; you can't vote for your own, there's one vote per connection, and you need an hour of play on Kettlewood to vote. It needs at least two builders.

Rewards

• Everyone who takes part chooses a reward, once a day (for the flash hunt, only if the chest is found; claim it the same day): a stack of town palette blocks of your choice, rockets and bottles o' enchanting, food, or 50 ✦.
• The winner of the contest and whoever finds the chest choose a book: Mending or Efficiency V, once a month per player. Already had this month's? You get a big stack of palette blocks instead.
• /rdv shows the times, what's on right now, the last contest winner, and any reward waiting for you.
