The museum

On the second floor of the town hall, the museum collects the rare things of this world: music discs, pottery sherds, armor trims, goat horns and a handful of treasures (a heart of the sea, a totem, an echo shard…). No Embers, no reward in goods: just the collection, and your part in it.
How it works
- Find something rare.
/museumtells you, for each series, how many pieces are on show, and where that kind of thing is usually found. - Take it to the curator's lectern on the second floor, hold it in your hand and click the lectern.
- If the museum doesn't have one yet, it goes on show on its own pedestal. If it does, it joins the reserve; it still counts for you.

You can give each piece once. Your gifts count towards three milestones: 10, your name on the benefactors' plaque; 25, the title Patron of the Museum; 50, Curator of the Museum (shown in /profile). Items the server made itself (hats, keepsakes, torn pages) don't go in the museum.
Your gifts say "given by a benefactor" unless you choose otherwise: /museum name on shows your name, /museum name off hides it again. See the privacy page.
